Our Master Readers® classroom resources are designed to support high-quality reading practice through structured talk, purposeful questioning, and consistent routines. The suite combines learning wall displays and table-top pupil resources, ensuring that both teachers and pupils are supported in developing rich, thoughtful reading behaviours.

 

There are two core resource strands:

Book Club Support Resources

Purpose:
To scaffold high-quality pupil discussion during Book Club, helping children to articulate ideas, respond to texts, and engage meaningfully with others.

Includes:

  • Table-top Book Club Support Cards
    Shared between reading partners, these prompts guide pupils in structuring their responses, building on others’ ideas, and deepening discussion.

  • A3 Learning Wall Book Club Posters (Set of 4)
    A visual reference for classroom use, reinforcing key discussion stems and expectations to support independent, high-quality talk.

STEM Questioner Support Resources

Purpose:
To develop pupils’ ability to think critically about texts through structured questioning, moving from literal understanding to deeper inference and evaluation.

Includes:

  • Table-top Questioner Support Cards
    Partner-based prompt cards that support pupils in asking and answering a range of questions, encouraging deeper engagement with texts.

  • A1 Learning Wall Questioner Poster
    A clear, large-format classroom display that models the progression of questioning and supports pupils in becoming confident, independent readers.

A class set (30 pupils) includes:
